Overview of the Group
SCUD Groupwas founded in 1997 with a registered capital of USD127 million and successfully listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange by the end of 2006. It is a high-tech enterprise offering comprehensive battery solutions for mobile and digital products through its own independent brand sales network, independent research and development technology and advanced manufacturing model.
Through twenty years of intensive and meticulous effort, the Group currently consists of a dozen or so subsidiaries including SCUD (Fujian) Electronics Co., Ltd. andSCUD Battery Co., Ltd. producing mobile phone battery, power bank, power battery, etc. Our major customers include world-renowned brands such as Huawei, ZTE, Mi, Lenovo and Samsung. In 2010, SCUD extended its service to the vocational education field in establishing the Fujian SCUD Senior Technician Training School from which nearly 10 thousand occupational talents have graduated up to today who take up different posts and duties, making a valuable contribution in delivering occupational talentsto the society.
Today, at a time when energy industry develops rapidly, SCUD applies brand strategyin its operation and fully utilizes its established brand advantage and channels and resources in the mobile battery field. Such strategyworked out a multi-engine development framework highlighting mobile battery, power bank and power battery, providing a strong support and guarantee in satisfying the needs of the rapidly developing energy technology market.
SCUD has established a sales network integrating distributors, agents, retailers and e-commerce of all levels, enabling its products to reach various provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government, as well as selling to the U.S., Japan and other foreign countries and regions. Since2014, SCUD achieved numerous breakthroughs in its overseas businesses through building up a global cooperation strategy with brands including Honeywell, Micromax, ASUS, CK telecom and Lava.
